Short Description:
Covers compact cranes used in industrial and plant environments. Training includes crane setup, operation in confined spaces, and hazard awareness for carry-deck applications.

Certification Process:

• Three-hour written exam (80 items) addressing OSHA 1926 Subpart CC, crane components, maintenance, and signaling.

• Practical exam evaluating lift and maneuver control.

• Passing score: 80%. Full NCCER certification awarded upon completion.

Our course offers classroom, lecture, testing and hands-on Mobile Boom Crane Simulator Training as a part of the Mobile Crane Operator course. Hands-On practice also included on real cranes.

We place strong emphasis on safe work practices, while covering rigging, crane operations, telescopic and lattice boom assembly and disassembly, load dynamics, lift planning, crane charts, math and more. Coverage of safety, communications and emergency procedures are integrated throughout to ensure learners are prepared to safely operate mobile cranes.

This course prepares you to take a written test and practical exam that is required for national certification.
